In a world overflowing with endless chances to make your move and make your mark, why are you missing so many chances? Why are you blowing so many opportunities? Why are you getting so little done?
Maybe you have convinced yourself that your 'opportunity of a lifetime' has come and gone. Perhaps you have conned yourself into believing that good fortune is just not in the cards. So you break out the crying towel. You deal yourself a pity card - along with a ton of excuses.
Instead of doing, you stay put.
You stand pat.
You cower in the corner.
And get nothing done.

Life is full of opportunities. There are tons of chances available, gazillions of openings all over the place. More than you can handle. More than you ever dreamed possible. But you don't see them. You don't seize them. Because right here, right now, you are scared.
Scared of losing.
Scared of falling down.
Scared of embarrassing yourself.
Scared to half to death.

You are too stinking scared to get out there and take a risk. To take a chance. To throw caution to the wind. And it shows.
Good grief; kindergarten kids have more backbone than that.

Does the danger of failure scare you? If so, you are in good company. Everyone FEELS fear. Everyone FEELS afraid. Everyone FEELS scared from time to time. But these are just feelings. Feelings you can overcome. Feelings you can conquer. Feelings that can be replaced with action. Face facts, playing scared is no way to live. Playing scared is no way to win. Playing scared is a dead end street. And playing scared will choke out every dream you have... if you give it a chance.
Don't.
Seizing opportunity can never be accomplished by sitting safely on the sidelines, hoping something good will fall in your lap. You have to take risks. You have to let go. You have to toss your feelings aside and turn it loose.
You have to reach out and grab glory.

Boldly reaching out and giving life a real go can be risky. It can be dangerous. And it can be uncertain and unpredictable at times. But would you prefer to stay put and do nothing? Accomplish nothing? And go nowhere worth going? I didn't think so.
Starting today, you are going to stop playing scared.
Stop playing it safe.
Stop leaving your best on the table.
Stop allowing fear to have the final say.

And start living life with passion and purpose.
You are going to take some chances - and keep taking them. Even when you are losing. When you are failing. When you are falling short. And while you will take some lumps along the way, you will get better. You will get stronger. You will overcome life's obstacles - and achieve your dreams.
It's time to saddle up and punch fear in the mouth. Kick it in the rear. Run it out of town - and out of your life.
Take charge. Take control. Take the dare. Show some flair. And make today a great day, an incredible day; a day you will cherish forever.
